Fashion Exhibit at the MAM

I was SO lucky to have caught the last day of this AMAZING exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Museum. It was the Inspiring Beauty: 50 Years of Ebony Fashion Fair exhibit, and I did get to work at a Mount Mary University event that was at the museum featuring this exhibit, I did not get to see it since I was working but I did peak my head in. Then the last day of the exhibit I went and LOVED it.

Hyde Park MKE has recently changed over from the widely known Hyde Park Tailors and Cleaners, that was owned and operated by Erwin and Joe Strigenz. Erwin has owned and worked at the company since the 1960's and his brother Joe joined working with him shortly after the 1980's. They have worked side by side for decades, bringing a level of high class in suiting, tailoring and dry cleaning to the Wauwatosa area. Erwin's daughter Rose worked at the shop as a young girl helping out with the dry cleaning, and today her daughter Sydney is taking over the family business. Hyde Park MKE will be a women's clothing, accessories and gift store. Hyde Park will also continue the 3rd generation tradition of offering tailoring, alterations and dry cleaning, something very unique to the retail world. We are also carrying clothing lines by local Milwaukee designers, nation-wide brands, as well as pieces of art and accessories for sale by local artists.
